When entering Grade 7, obviously it will be a new environment and for sure a new journey. Elementary days ended, so high school life has now begun. Unlike in elementary, it’s not just the classes or lessons that are getting harder but the awareness to get serious this time. Being aware of what has been going on or what should be done gives a little stiffness in the shoulders. Yes, responsibilities are the ones that pressurize individuals to work even harder.
The carefree mindset during elementary school will be turned into very careful. Without much explanation the answer is very obvious, as we get older we mature. It’s a little bit lonely thinking of leaving the old days and habits that we used to. There will be new friends to meet, but it doesn’t mean the old ones will be forgotten. Even, the new ones will likely be part of the new journeys.
Sometimes life at school can be depressing especially when you take it very seriously. There are times that it will not be a roller coaster ride because quite often, you get to see yourself at the bottom; Disappointments, feeling betrayed and thinking of giving up. It can’t be avoided, this is the beginning of the steps in adulting. It’s normal when we wish for too much but it never happens. It’s a sign that you’re working hard to be ready for a brighter future. Though, it’s reality that the results will not always be pleasing or the outcome is not the one you expected.
Four years had passed and it felt like never thought there would be an end. Imagine going to school to study and return home doing the same. Drained energy will be hard to replenish with just a whole long night’s sleep after. But still, you overcame it or let’s say you made it despite everything. You won all the battles you faced at school.
There is no graduation ceremony like yesterday because of another 2 years waiting in Senior High school. It’s okay, you took another step for a better future ahead. These photographs before the recognition day will be a trophy in time to come; Not right away, not today or maybe tomorrow but for sure someday. Be happy, these photographs are proof that you completed 4 years in highschool. Hereafter, you will decide what to do next but make sure to enroll in senior high to help you brighten the unsure days in the future. Anyway, enough with the worries today and save it later. What you should do is be happy that you completed high school. Give your biggest and sweetest smile because you deserve to be happier than anyone else today.
